Smokeyvol.....bull on negative crap not helping...it helped last year, it lit a fire under Fulmer's backside, it other words it pissed him off, we need to start the negative crap two months before the season starts if that is what it takes.

Orangesox....yes I probably am a fairweatherfan, but I prepare all year from bowl season to the opening kickoff in the fall, hoping it will be the year, I know who plays what postitions, their numbers, and what we should expect. I know I cannot expect for us to win it all every year, but is it too much to ask to not lose early and give me hope into Nov. The furthest we have made it before losing since 2001 was Oct 6 and that was in 2001, we usually lose in Sept. Can the coaches not get the team ready for games until after their first loss? Every year seems worse that the year before on being ready to play. I didn't see any aspect of the team being ready this year. The comment was made that they worked on the kicking game more than anything else, well it shows, they only made one mistake there, they gave up a blocked punt(for a TD, no less). They should didn't working on passing or running, or blocking. Well there is always next year, oh I forget we play UCLA the second game (in Sept), which you can bet will be better next year.

DCFlorida....that is what I usually do, I put the paper in the shredder Sunday morning after Florida beats us.

webbofconfusion....why can we not afford a new coach. Other teams that put less in the stadium than we do can afford one. We fill the house for football, basketball, and women's basketball. we have more income than most schools. I think what you are asking, is can we afford to pay Fulmer to leave, it would be cheaper to demote him to line coach and keep him than let him go, then he would have to leave on his on, to save face. I bet his contract doesn't say anything about demoting him.

jmbigorange----and tell me why Chow was not interviewed for the OC job, he was available. Did Fulmer think he didn't know what he was doing. We should have hired either Chow, or the coach at Appy State. Appy State has beat Richmond the last two years for the NC.

Saw Jonathan play against Franklin, NC his senior year in High school. Their QB was Tony Smith. Tony outplayed Jonathan all 4 quarters and we took Jonathan, maybe he will be ready for the Florida game, but if Spiderman doesn't have a better game plan by then, I look for the same score as last year's Florida game.

Randy Sanders play calling was better that SpiderMan (Clausen). What a wasted game....lookout, Florida will beat us 56-14 again.

where is Berry's name on the list? yes he may be on defense, but sometimes the defense is better putting the offense in scoring position than the offense is. Berry is one of the top 3!

98reax....you want us to answer one simple question.....What is the question? The only question I saw in you comments is and I quote: "I know i'm not encouraged by these hundreds of negative comments, why should we think anyone else would be?" Well Mr. 98reax, the negative comments was the only thing that got Mr. Fulmer motivated last year. I would think it will piss him off enough this year to do something again.
