After hearing these recruits talk about Coach Scott, has anyone given Trooper a second thought? I haven't even heard his name mentioned on these sites in quite some time. I like Troop's energy a lot, but I think it is becoming clear that there are plenty of recruiters out there without giving them a coordinator job.

is it just me or does this team a little bit, frightenly resemble some of J Green's teams. A little sloppy at times and a little out of control. We ran the fast break like 4yr old girls last game. I think we tried to throw an alley oop off the scorers table while blowing out a cupcake candle. I have total faith in BP, but sometimes just put the ball in the basket, especially in March.

I still say if you look at the avg ranking of players we are just outside the top 25. Like .01 on Rivals from Aubbie at 25. On Scout, it doesn't let me rank by avg, but it looks pretty similar. Is that ideal? No. Would I rather be top 5 and have ESPNU talk about us for 8 hrs today? Yes, but I don't think our class is that far off, and we simply don't have a lot of numbers. Some guy named Bruce does pretty well without McD's all americans. But that is called coaching. I for one would like to hear more from
the Claw, about talent in hand, talent coming in and what he envisions for our system. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

sjt18..maybe overstated a bit, but looking at rivals, a team like Minnesota with 17 3* and 6 4* is a top 25 class..you can read how they come up with the points..its a combo of 'quantity and quality' but it looks like to me that a large class will inc a team ranking...but still I don't like seeing us that low and not even being considered by "top" talent

we don't need quaterbacks...i look at avg rating more than rankings. those rankings are based on points. you could have 28 3*'s and be a top 10 class. by no means are we doing great, but our avg per player is just outside the top 25, last i checked. anyway,

am i missing something? Did this article change since first being posted? It says Foster to be second round and Mayo to be 4-5? Ass backwards from what i would think. Foster needs to go. Mayo needs to stay. Not b/c i don't want foster back, but a second rounder needs to go. these are supposed fairly accurate predications, i mean they do poll NFL GM's. 4-5th rounders are not guaranteed to be millionaires. it seems everybody posting here thinks mayo got some great grade. i would love to play college football and only take 6 hrs of grad class never intending to use it, but injury is the key and i don't think he can get insurance with that projection.
