Maybe if these guys (athletes) were charged on their first offense rather than having charges dropped, they would learn an early lesson and get their heads on straight. Dropping of charges promotes an attitude that they can be law breakers and not have any consequences for their actions. I agree with Andy112382...can you spell "STUPID"??????

Is his coaching deserving of the credit or is the fact that he had some really good players more deserving??????? The coaches at Xavier and Davidson certainly did better jobs than Pearl and got their teams closer to the final four.

It's been the story with men's athletics, but it is more sad to see it spreading to the women. Just a reflection of our society.

Without Parker, the Lady Vols just need to stay parked in Knoxville because they won't have a prayer against LSU and Sylvia Fowles. Bobbitt, the turnover queen, can't see the court to direct the team; Anosike shoots like she's throwing bricks; Hornbuckle could keep us in the game but stays in foul trouble; Bjorklund plays like a Freshman (totally confused under pressure); and the only one of certainty on the bench is Fuller, but Pat won't play her. Again, without Parker, there is no team.

On How will Lady Vols respond if top-scorer Parker is parked?

If Pearl leaves, another aspiring coach will step in and fill his shoes. UT gave him the "break" of his life, and can do the same for another. It's a shame that there are not more coaches out there dedicated to their schools more than their bank accounts.

AMEN to GreerVoll22...in a tournament where one loss sends you home for good, the refs should call evenly for both teams but let them play. Both the men's and women's tournament have had some baaaaadly called games!

JaJuan shouldn't be writing "No. 1 seed" on his shoes...those orange and white sneekers are going to be black and blue ones if the Vols continue playing as they are...they haven't shown any sign of deserving a No. 1 seed since they beat Memphis. They escaped one today and my hat's off to them...but they are not taking this tournament seriously...at least not by the way they are playing.

I don't think ORU will be "Starry Eyed" until AFTER the game.

In the SEC, how about Sylvia Fowles (LSU), Shawn Goff (Ole Miss) and DeWanna Bonner (Auburn). I think head-to-head matched against Parker when they played each other this season, all three of those players outplayed her. I know Parker is good, but by her inconsistent play this season, I don't think she's the best. I'm a Vols fan, but let's be real. If she's as good as everyone thinks, let her show it down the tournament road.
