I would like to see the specific wording of the rule, regulation or as Low calls it "legislation" that require the math class. The math class needs to be properly defined. Nonetheless, Slive could and should make an exception if a technical flaw did occur.

It is not how the test was administered. It is the type of math class. Evidently, the type of math class or the accreditation of the class is questioned.
This hard to take. Keep your figures crossed for Gerald. Many other players would be at another school by now.

99gator 11:33 post "florida is a must win for tennessee" is a reasonable prediction for another reason, too. Florida usually seems to beat Georgia according to my memory. Am I right? In other words, if Tenn loses one game to either GA or Fla, it preferablly would be to the victor of the Fla v. Ga game. (I hope I worded that correctly).

Read the story gator4life posted at 4:28. That was very stupid of bama's assistant.

I think Weis needs to win eight games this year. Surely, he is on the hot seat. I can't remember a worse year for ND than last. But they still seem to recruit. Go figure?

cjraney: thanks for the update. Maybe Oliver will lose interest in ND after they lose five or six more games this year. A lot of babysitting is left to do. I am concrned about Allen reconsidering. Of course, Fulmer will probably steal a few recruits too.

Do we still have to wait on SEC's approval? Or did they say they would defer to NCAA?

I don't think anyone here or in the media knows if SEC properly defined what math class a transfer needs to take.
Regardless, Gerald passed a math test. He did everything that he was asked to do. That is true back in high school. I think he should ve been "grandfathered" because the NCAA banned UH in Miami after he took the courses. He should not have been punished retroactively.
