I didn't care for Adams hatchet job on Fulmer, or several of his "Piling on" after the fact articles over the years. But--- as long as he is the Sports Editor, he's going to cover Media Days in Birmingham( and get the most out of his expense account). I'm sure someone is covering the event for every major paper in the Southeast. A buddy of mine writes for a minor publication, and they are sending him down to cover it.

Unbelievable. The whiners stay on here, and 95% of you don't even go to the games. Yes, you might find a lesser game for $5, 5" before game. Personally I want to be in the Stadium to watch teams warm up, and not come in at end of 1rst Quarter. And yes, there is still a waiting list for season tickets. If you had read the story, it said a limited number of "Single seat" Season tickets. There was one of those in front of my seats a couple of years ago.

Since I assume at this point his chances on a pro career are nil, I would rehab the knee, get my degree; and go on with life. My left knee feels and sounds like two rocks rubbing together, and my problems are very minor compared to many people I know. Don't take a chance at this point.

Assuming Gerald Williams really gets there, he will be a DE, and Donald may end up there.

Holston boys know how to spell. Just don't let me catch Hooker doing again like all the national sports media with the non word " untracked". Used by these great wordsmiths to mean getting back on the right track, when in reality it means the opposite. Thankfully the word still won't pass my spell check.

I have made my post for the month, but I have to comment on these bash Chavis for lack of DT's posts. I happen to think Chavis is an excellent LB Coach and DC. That said, he may not be the best recruiter on the Hill. It's no secret that's how you folks got your head coach. Without rehashing JM, Fulmer had Joe Johnson and Haslam scared to death he was going to take the job at East Carolina. And THEY didn't want to lose their BEST recruiter, which he was. Every staff has one or two, regardless of title, who do most of the heavy lifting on the recruiting front. These boards were on fire 7 months ago that we couldn't lose Trooper. Remember Rodney Gardner, he's helped Auburn, Tenn, and Georgia and apparently still isn't a great coach. Chavis can coach, and WE HAVE people who can recruit. The sky is not falling.
On Poll: What are your impressions of Tennessee’s 2008-09 football recruiting class so far?

Gen TDTN Watermelon, EB, etc, we have Hall from Chatt, Sykes from Alcoa, and one more whose name escapes me who are DL for the 2009 class. Hall at least will probably be a DT. The Shelf is not as bare as you may think. Everyone in the country wants "Good" DT's, and they know it. One to Ga and one to Ala is about all I've heard commit. I was wondering if the Coach was losing it, but things are looking up. Those of you who are using the same tired cliches, under different screen names are boring most of to death. Some like EB502 I don't always agree with, but I know he's stating what he believes. He and most others don't spout off on this forum just to hear their ears rattle.

He's back.

Position coaches pay acknowledges longevity. One thing about this raise is since the 2005 debacle, the Fulmer haters have referred to his $2.4 million salary on here and on radio. Of course he made $2.04 million. Now the haters can possibly get the correct number in their spiel.
