richvol, I don't mean to pick nits with you, but my memory dredges up Karl Kremser missing a 52-yarder, definitely not a chip-shot. I also remember the battle between Johnson and Liggins. I can still remember the blood vessels popping out the side of Liggins neck...a most impressive physical specimen.

I don't care how much you want to "compete", becoming a naturalized Russian citizen just so you can play in the Olympics, as Becky Hammon did, borders on being a traitor, imho.

ladivolfan, my sentiments exactly. I think it killed her to be that gracious toward the UT contingent; or, maybe those comments were very loving, in her hard-edged, yankee sort of way.

6'4", 90 mph fastball with great control and great off-speed stuff? It's a miracle if he ever makes it to campus; but, maybe the kid will not be ready or will want to have the "college experience", or maybe the dollar signs will just not be big enough.

John Mark now has the correct number of #21 chromosomes. Coach Stallings was a great father to his son, and I'm sure Mrs. Stallings was the most loving of mothers. I and my family extend our thoughts and prayers to the Stallings.
