I have so many thoughts on why such a great game of BB is only played by women and yet it isn't watched. It sort of speaks of the mindset of our population. Not to bring politics into this. But just listen to the millions that say they wouldn't vote for a woman as president, only because she is a female.

This is where womens BB is. I have enjoyed watching womens BB for 30 years, whenever a game might be televised. And now we are getting access to more every year for which I am glad.

The WNBA is getting exactly what the NBA chooses to give them at this point. And the women are trying to make their game like the NBA.

Will this work I don't know. But I do know that I hope the WNBA survives. These are some pure BB players and for me a joy to watch.

Progress Is So Slow. Hang on WNBA.

First: Vicki thank you. You have been a joy to watch as you worked at figuring out the college level. One could watch with a smile. It really hurt to watch your injury. Good luck on the recovery.

Thank you Lady Vols and Staff. Probably one of the greatest game plans and executed games that I have ever watched. You literally shocked them, their coach and the rest of the BB world. You beat three of the hottest teams in the tournament. I'll admit it I was one nervous Vol fan. I was just hoping that they all peaked in the game before us. And they did, and The Lady Vols was the team that would test them to reach in their reserves and not one of them could get it back against a team like our Lady Vols.

Go Lady Vols!!!!!!!!!

Last comment: Steven Pearl is the coaches son and he will play. Get used to it. Live with it. There is nothing wrong with him being in that game. He did well. Damn find something to pick on other than the coaches son. He played fine. And he's getting some size to himself. Go Steven. He looks like he is going to be a tough young man.Foolish argument.

TO THE TEAM. THANKS. You have brought me back to mens college basketball.I have really enjoyed watching you play this season.

To Coach Pearl. Thanks. Your team has been a joy to watch. And I am sure as you examine this past season you will come to gripes with what went wrong. Hint: Why would you mess with a teams chemistry as you did. All season I looked at that bench and it was together, happy, smiling, enjoying itsself whether they were playing or not. Whole sale substitution was our style. Then you got to thinking too much, I guess. You started putting down your players in the press, mainly point guards. Then decided changes had to be made at tournament time. I still can't figure that one out. But I guess that's why you get the big bucks. I feel this won't happen again. But this has been painful for me to watch what you just did to your team. It was just too big of a gamble. And you know the good thing. Every player on that team will be behind you. So you still have a team and a good one.

GO VOLS!!!! LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR!!

I feel better now. I am excited for this team.

Great Win Ladies!!!!!

Anjie is really hustling. She's rebounding and mixing it up and she's not getting those tic tac fouls called. Glad she's a Lady Vol. I think her legs are coming back to her. And with a little more rest her shot will come too. Maybe she's pressing a little.

ESPN does not make any sense to me at all. Why would you show dook and arizona on 2 and U at the same time. The only reason I can figure is some people up there don't get it. I wonder how long this contract is. The coverage is so poor.

And trey wingo another year. Boy that is a real winner. And one last thing. KARA would you please relax and stop being a puppet head. I'm all for you. But you're not progressing. Stacy is starting to get my favor. She has improved alot, in my view.

TOCA, I think that your comments are out of place, and definitely on the wrong board, to say in the least. You don't have to keep trying to justify your teams actions to us. We don't care, we do not have to justify anything, to anybody, as it is apparent that you and your kind keep doing all over every board in print.

I feel for that young lady and it stops there. Your team has not done justice to her. She will have this shadow on her for the rest of her life. And she and her mother, as I read, have made some bad decisions and this team and its supporters keep on smiling and trying to justifying. It really appears that your GA has the answers, not us.

So I have held off long enough. You will not stop. So IMO every win that Uconn ladies have with this young lady playing on its team is TAINTED. So on this subject shut up. The press has it and when will it end is up to the press and you folks. Not us.

And as far as EDD. I guess good for uconn. But she hasn't played yet.

Gosh I hate to get this upset. But enough is enough. These people just can't get it. Where there is smoke there is fire, as the old saying goes.

And there is nothing in this article, about a Lady Vol Victory, about uconn. What's with these people?

I'm over it!!!!

Just My Opinion. I feel better now.

Now great win. ORU was a scrappy, tough team. And to see that young lady slip on that card was awful. Everybody feels for her. And I am sure corrections will be made. Good luck to her. Hopefully no surgery.

CP don't you remember. Don't let the refs control your game. Don't let them get in your head. And they did make some of the most unreal calls. I guess they can now tell everyone how they called a foul on CP, or something like that. I couldn't see those calls. Even on on the replays.

Go Lady Vols

I'll say this. Pearl is going to mess with his team till he out coaches himself. If he is going to bench Smith and Howell and Childress. Then he needs to bench hisself. Just look at his demeaner on the sideline and his intensity. These guys played a big part in getting where they are. And him showing No Confidence and putting these guys down sure isn't helping. I think he should have been a coach instead of a press critic. He has been putting those guys down for weeks. And sorry folks I am afraid it is going to bite him. Those guys, this team, are not playing as I've have really gotten to really enjoy Mens BB again. Sorry Pearl I am disappointed in you, to be so positive then to turn so negative on these players is affecting your team especially at this time. To me just a big coaching blunder. I hope that I am wrong, believe me folks.

uconn take this down. uconn huskies are on their way. They will be beat, more than once. If ND would have hit half of their open shots. That game would have been the first. The two injuries ( and my heart goes out for these two ladies) will take its toll.

Gate12 I tend to agree with your comments on CP. In last nights game I kept trying to figure her out in these games. To me it's like in these big games she gets herself so hyped that she almost shuts down, she loses her self control. And when she gets called on fouls she has a hard time moving on. I really don't think it is laziness. She like gets into her own head too much. And yes they are beating the h*ll out of her. The ref's could call a foul every time she gets the ball. It's like they get tired of calling fouls for her, which is wrong. I am sure she worries about going into the paint of someone cutting her legs out from under her, with her knees. She is the best player on the womens court today and when she gets comfortable with herself and just goes out and scores 50 points without worrying about being selfish, she will then be unstopable, except for the foul. She's a very complexed player. Remember she hasn't seen another female with her talent to use as a guide.

Very proud of our Lady's last night, they showed nerves of steel. Just love our freshmen.

I wonder if Nicky and coach Pat has a conversation about who calls substitutions yet. haha
