Man the crow I have had to eat this week as I live in Georgia. That game made my stomach churn! Crompton looked pretty bad most of the night. He did look good on a few plays. Where the heck was the "Clawfence" we heard so much about? They have 2 weeks to get it together before the Gaytors roll into Neyland. Oscar Meyer will pound the Vols without mercy if he can! Foster...PLEASE HOLD ONTO THE FREAKIN BALL. You have cost us several games with your fumbling ability! Go Vols!!

On Crompton doesn't start practice

I could not believe how bad Crompton looked....get ready for a long season! I have tickets to UAB. Any offers?

On Poll: What was the biggest factor in Tennessee's 27-24 overtime loss to UCLA?

I am so freaking mad I cannot see straight! Even before Lincoln hit the field goal to tie the game, some TN players were yucking it up on the sideline...with the freaking game on the line. Crompton laid a BIG EGG tonight....we are in serious trouble boys!

On Game notebook: Vols show fashion sense with orange pants

This could easily be a "trap" game....it will not be a cake walk. The Vols need to dominate from the first snap and show those left-coast weenies what real SEC football is all about. We need to win by 2 -3 TD's and kick some serious Bruin butt. Gooooooooooo Vols.....its great to be a VOLUNTEER!

On UCLA quarterback has tough practice

Ainge was not paid to throw the SECCG. However, LSU should have sent him a nice check because of the way he played. He simply was not very good that game. Ainge had his moments at UT but it always seemed like he played "scared" especially after the ND game when he got hurt. I wish him the best in the NFL. Just be on the lookout for Jonathan Crompton this year! That young man is going to surprise a lot of people! Goooooooooo Vols!!

On Mangini: Ainge funny, so are his throws

Maybe Ainge can show Favre how to avoid being sacked by throwing the ball away instead of, "heaven forbid", running to gain yardage. By the 6th game with Crompton, we will be saying "Ainge Who"? Goooooooo Vols!!!

On Ainge played like Favre, now is next to idol

Chavis better be bringing lots of heat and the offense better put up a ton of points! How bad would it be to lose to their 3rd stringer assuming Olson is out for the opener? I think the Vols are going to have a great season and I cannot wait until its "Football Time in Tennessee"!!! Lay the wood to them, boys!!

On UCLA starting quarterback hurt again

Crompton is going to surprise a lot of people this fall...primarily the Florida Gaytors and the Georgia LegHumpers! Play lights out football and don't back off no matter how much of a lead we have. Its time to show the nation what old fashioned Tennessee smash-mouth football is like. See you in Atlanta in December!!! GO VOLS!!!

On Crompton can smile again after surgeries, sitting on bench

This is what happens when the inmates (a.k.a. thugs) run the asylum. Ever since Saint Richt did the Soulja Boy dance things have gone down hill. I hope UGA is still rankded in the top 5 when October 11th rolls around. The Vols will show them what an old fashioned Tennessee Azz-Whippin is all about. Go Vols!!!

On Georgia suspends two players indefinitely

Eric Berry is the "real deal"!! The interception return against the Gaytors was incredible and gave me hope (for a moment ) that we had a chance against UF. Remember what they say about paybacks..."They're a *****". So lets beat the crap out of the Gaytors in September and slam the UGA Puppies in October. See you in Atlanta for the SECCG Mr. Berry! Go Vols!!!

On Adams: Time was right for Berry to shine
