sjt18..... again you are the only person on this board that knows anyting about UT football... the point being we don't have the talent even if in your small pee head you think so...
did you read the article a while back about the correlation between the recruiting classes in the 90's and our winning percentages.... or do you need to google correlation???? same plays on off and def but different outcome... why??? talent baby talent.....

QB 19 of 41 or 46%????? has any UT QB been that bad and stayed in the game??/ it tells me the QB's behind him are not any better... talent people.. talent... now you see the results of all those 30th ranked recruiting classes....
chavis is so predictable... look at every game we had the lead in last year and in the second half he played the same defense as sat night.... look back, vandy, kent, sc... wisc..... ucla.... is that a trend...
8 wins is all fulmer has to get people.. UAB, NI, WY, vanday, kent and miss state gives him 6... where will he get the other two???? maybe SC gives him 7??? number 8???? ucla was it..lol....
i'm so sick of this crew............ will 8 wins looking like we do make us happy....... we are not even close to a championship level!!!

cool aid anyone????? I heard Mike H has told all the assitant AD's to get plenty of it ready for the UAB game....... so if someone on the street is offering a cool orange drink for UAB beware... its Mike H's secret brew... if you drink it you will say 8 is enough for tn football.........
BTW if that was a spread offense he ran last night.... well we've been running it for 20 years and just didn't know it.......

gatorzz you are correct. i never drank the cool aid because what i've seen as a team couldn't be changed with a new OC...
3 things are killing tn success
1. average talent at best at several key positions
2. fulmer runs a certain type of offense he refusing to change... see last night... same formations and plays since 80's
3. chavis and slade are on the defensive side of the ball.. spurrier used to lick his chops on 3 and long with these two clowns running our D..
one part of me wants us to lose 6 or 7 games for get rid of fulmer but i'm not sure my nerves could take a season playing like we did last night...
OMG..... we are a terrible, out of sync football team...

where are the cpf and how great he is for the program and the state of tn at????? its funny isn't it... they will wait until we beat uab and then come on here and tell us how great we are and cpf has turned the team around... right... then fla will rip was and they will disappear again... do we see a trend here.
fulmer may be a good guy but he needs to move onto something else........

I' so glad fulmer moved this game to primetime to show the world what a joke of a coach we just extended......... no excuses for last night except coaching..
OC- what type of spread offense was that last night....lol.....i said it before,, fulmer controls it and last night showed. the formations and plays we ran are the same we ran in the 80's.. no change so now everyone knows.. worst play calling ever..
DC-chavis is a joke... 3rd and long we play soft and make a 3rd string qb look great...
foster-should never see the field again... he's cost us at least 3 games while at UT....
conclusion-i said before the season started the tell tale sign would be on 3 and short for the offense run or pass... we passed and passed and passed and passed some more... so nothing changed
3 and long for our defense we played soft... nothing changed there...
oh well............................. if he loses to fla i will be wanting his head.............

go vols!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is the firs time in a long time not sure what to expect.. don't really know if we'll win them all or lose 4 or 5 games......
what worries me is that if fulmer doesn't let the new OC be himself and call plays as he sees fit during a game we'll still be predictable.

GO VOLS and its that time of year where we all hope for that dream season again like 1998.... wait a minute i'm starting to sound like everyone else...lol
no we should win I agree but we have a lot of questions to be answered also because ucla might not have to pass if they become more physical than our DL and run the ball effectively... that's my concern stopping their run and then we turn the ball over and give them easy scores... that's the only way they beat us...

we're favored by 7 so if we blow this game.... i'm not sure what will happen the rest of the season..
we should be ok because we're catching ucla at the right time for an easy win.... GO VOLS!!!
