I am a 79 graduate of UT and am originally from B'ham, Al. I don't understand the Fulmer bashing because from my recollection he is responsible for us believing we should contend for the national championship every year. I remember losing to Alabama every year. Fulmer took over and we became a top ten team and won a NC championship. No program stays on top forever and all programs have down years. We are still at a point where our expectations are high and I believe we will win our share of championships with Fulmer as coach. I don't want to go back to where we were before Fulmer took over. Start changing coaches and we could end up like Alabama changing coaches every 4 years and stil being mediocre. Just one grads opinion!!!!!!!!!

Take a look at what Chris Paul does for his teammates with New OrLeans. That's what Bobby Maze means by making Hopson better. A good point guard gets his teammates the ball where and when they can do the most damage. Plus he is good enough offensively that he also has to be accounted for, so fewer double teams in the post. Watch and admire and enjoy. Go Vols

I am glad the young man is trying to exit with some sense of dignity by not slamming the program or the coaches an acknowledging his mistakes. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone! Good luck Duke and thanks for helping coach Pearl get this ball rolling by signing with the Vols 2 years ago and by leaving without publicly downing the program.

I don't think Vincent Yarbrough was overrated. He was under coached. Sorry for the misspelling

I have seen Hobson play and you all have the comparisons all wrong. You are about to see what Vincent Yarbrough would have become if Bruce Pearl had coached him. Scotty Hopson at this point in his career reminds me of Vincent Yarbrough. Tons of potential but very laid back. He will be all world when Bruce gets through with him.

For those of you who don't know,; Harvard does not offer athletic scholarships. Black, white or other if Pearl offered him I say welcome to Tennessee and Go Vols!
On Craft ready to go 'all-out' for Pearl, Tennessee
