Let mediocrity reign! Where else but at incestuous Tennessee could zero championships be rewarded with a hefty raise.
Pearl's raise was deserved. Fulmer - you must be kidding.
Let's guess who will win an SEC Championship first: Pearl or Fulmer. Oh, wait. Pearl already did that in his THIRD year. It's been TEN for PF.
UT football will post yearly records of 8-9 wins from here until Fulmer leaves. With likely ZERO championships.
How that kind of performance can be rewarded is beyond me.

All of you who are so "hurt" about Kara Lawson picking Stanford need to get over yourself. Are you still in High School? After Tennessee's performance in the semi and Stanford's against UConn, there was no reason to pick the Lady Vols.
Lawson is just as much a Lady Vol today as she was when she played. Thankfully, she has the professionalism to put her allegiances aside when acting in an analyst role.
Those who have a problem with her picking Stanford need to grow up.

If Fulmer is gone by then, we may actually stand a chance.

OK "coach," Explain how you are going to respond when one of your players KILLS another person as a result of his reckless behavior. Behavior that went largely undisciplined by you as a result of the player's athletic prowess.
It's coming, sadly.
And maybe then you will realize the true depth of your shallow approach.

There is no other option. Fulmer must go. For the good of the program and the University.
And kudos to Adams and the KNS for having the fortitude to write and publish the article everyone knew was needed.

I guarantee what happened here is a case of the clock operator ANTICIPATING a foul call in that situation and pausing the clock ever-so-slightly (think press twice in succession) to allow the LV's an advantage.
As someone who has worked the scorer's table I can tell you it's commonplace for human-related clock errors to occur. Most of the time they aren't picked up and the game continues.
But in this case it's obvious what happened. The clock operator, cuaght up in the game, flinched while hoping for a foul call. And that's what happened.
That's not a way to win a game and the LV's should be embarrassed.

Another rat jumping ship. This is more telling that it appears.

So he won't be Offensive Coordinator? Odd.
Doesn't matter anyway - everyone knows Fulmer will only make the easy hire instead of someone who would challenge him.

I stopped reading after I saw coaching as an "A."
That's so absurd it's laughable.

LOL Chavis only got a $15k bump because it keeps him even with Clawson. Can't have the new OC making more than the hack DC y'know. I hope this is Chavis' last season.
