Well...what can you expect from a team coached by Bill Lamebrain? One of the dirtiest players to ever play in the NBA and now it is being carried over to the team he coaches in the WNBA. If suspensions are forthcoming, then it must also include the coaches and apparently the officials who allowed the game to get out of hand. Stay the course CP3! We love you and you have our support.

no.nein, nyet, nix, nyah, nope, nay, and if given an hour or two, probably this old 77 year old brain could come up with one or two others. I think that the words LADY Vols brings dignity to a well deserving program. If Arkie wants to call themselves hogettes, pretty porkers, shining shoats, elegant elts,
swinging swines, boar's beaus, lady hogs, swineettes,or since the logo for the razorbacks highlights the head of a wild hog, why not use the other end of the hog and let it represent the arkie lady athletic teams...nyah, didn't think so! Lady razorbacks seems to fit the best.

Go L A D Y Vols!

Contradicting statements in the article? Dismissed...doesn't that mean that you are a goner? "Wants to return to the team, but Richt says that has not yet been decided." C'mon now, which is it? My opinion doesn't count for much, but I think that these young men who represent the institution that they have agreed to play for and have had all the rules and expectations explained, in detail, to them. Then it is time to put a stop to "hooliganism"and put some teeth into punishment for their lack of judgement...regardless of the infraction.... Drugs, alcohol, fighting, missing classes, sexual mis-conduct, adn the list could go on and on, but I think that you get my point.
I am no way limiting my thoughts to Ga, UT, the SEC, but to all athletes who are granted the privilege to play and receive an education for their services. I'll get down off my soap box now. Have a good day.

Sorta makes you wonder as to the intelligence level of the "powers that be" at UCANT when Jell-O Ornery Enema is drawing a higher salary than coach Summitt. Hasn't all three major coaches at UT donated a million dollars, from their own pockets, not their sports dept.,back to UT? Even the previous sports announcer at UT, one John Ward, donated mega bucks to UT? Has anything of this magnitude happened at UCANT?

An interesting article. If more athletes would emulate the Manning family, this old world would be a better place in which to live. Go Vols!

Thanks John, for an informative article about one of the first female athletes, coached by a very classy lady, and is now being recognized for her role in UT athletics. You go girl!
