I'm a hater I quess. I hated watching Ainge dink and dunk. Jealous? No. Elated? Yes.

It will be great to finally have an athletic QB in there again. No more flipper-foot Clausens or Ain't gonna get hit Ainges. Hopefully the dink and Duke is gone. Watched a replay last night of last year's Vandy game. The quick dinks and dunks to stationary receivers for no yardage was painful to watch. Ainge getting rid of it quick over the middle for just 3 yards on third and 9 was even more painful. I for one won't miss having a candy at QB.

I heard Fulmer is holding out on Gerald Williams so he can count his 4 stars in next year's recruiting class.

The talent is there. The only question is will they be coached especially early. Through the early Cal, FL and AL debacle/embarrassments last year, we witnessed some of the worst middle linebacker play at TN since probably the early sixties. Amazing that Mayo was able to turn it around in the second half of the season last year.

Slade should have been out with Sanders. He is the weak link on defense. It will be a terrible waste of fine secondary talent this year. Probably 60-70th in the nation yet again.

As long as Chavis and Slade drop the 10 yard cushion option that failed so miserably against Cal, FL and AL. Let em get up there and play. Don't be afraid of a passing game.
