It is hard to grasp the the breadth and depth of this program's accomplishments ... back-to-back National Championships ... twice! EIGHT TOTAL ... and Coach Summitt will register her 1,000 win next season. There is nothing to compare this to because the UT Lady Vols are the standard to which other programs are compared. The very definition of "best in class".
BTW, when UT was up by double digits with two minutes to play (and still playing smothering defense), did anyone else think that if Coach Summitt had been the coach of the Memphis men's team, they too would be celebrating a national championship?

Glad to see Lofton do well, had to be bittersweet, "This is a great environment, I just wish I could have been playing in a game.’", says it all.
The Rupp award for CBP is continuing validation of what CP has already accomplished. As fans we so much want to have already "arrived", we need to remember that CBP is only starting to get players that fit his system/style of play. This is still a program on the rise, we have a great group of players returning and an incredible class of freshmen coming in ... the best is yet to come.

Tsk, tsk ... making threats is so beneath you. Let's face it, you have trolls, we have trolls, it's a fact of life. At least when I post on your board I do it under my own handle. While I have no love for the UM program, I am a basketball fan and have a lot of respect for the way they have played in this tourney. I would love to see a team from Tennessee as the NC. I admit that on occasion you have something interesting to say, unfortunately it gets lost under all the hyperbole. We have posters from other sites all the time, however they tend to talk basketball not demographics.
Not sure what you mean in your 6:16 post regarding two teams from TN in the women's FF ... I assume you mean two teams from the SEC? Doesn't matter, CPS and her program are the epitome of class and something we are proud of.

Lighten up dude, I don't think anyone is ready to put Mr. Hopson's statue outside of TBA ... we have just come off a disappointing tourney, there is a solid recruiting class coming in, and now UT lands the #9 prospect in the country. At least for today, I don't have to be a "realist", I can just be a fan and dream that anything is possible.

Not that I want to rain on anyone's parade, when questioned Scotty has commented that he could be a "one and done" player if his freshman year is as good as everyone expects. With the type of athletes CBP is recruiting I suspect this is something we may have to get used to. Still, should be one heck of a ride next year.
