He looks like a great prospect. Hopefully he will take his school work and his trade seriously while at UGA and become the man and player he has the potential to be.

The guy is a wonderful family man who happens to be a very good coach. Trust me he does not get a pass on transgressions made by some of his players. He has taken some pounding by the Georgia media for the off the field issues just because a writer has not called him out to be fired doesn't mean there isn't critisms. What he does get commended on is leveling stiff penalties.
UGA vs UT:
Yeah UT has a UGA's number of late but I don't think that will last much longer and the series will go to a more back and forth series. The teams are just too good for one to dominate for long. For all the talk about UT program being head and shoulders above the rest the number of NCs and SEC championships do not support that. I believe UT only has one more than UGA in both categories.

I think this kid will be suspended from the team this year even if the charges get reduced. Of course if the felony charges stick then football is the least of his worries. Some have brought up McDaniel and this is basically the same situation. Both guys decked a smaller man for very stupid reasons. The difference so far is with McDaniel the video clearly showed he was unprovoked. It has yet to be determined because all the facts are not out yet if Lemon was provoked outside of this guy just talking to his girl friend. IMHO Lemon made very, very bad choice that will cost him greatly......as it should!

I agree with your assessment TJ in terms of his performance in the CWS. There were a couple of approaches taken that made me scratch my head but FSU earned that title. I would have never pitched to Detwier in game three after his first HR of game 3 and his hot bat in game 2. The bottom line is regardless of tired pitching the FSU teams bats were hot and they were in the zone...so I tip my hat to them.
Perno's raise is based on the fact that he has lead the Dawgs to three CWS and two SEC Championships with hopefully more to come.

All the UGAs have been buried in a memorial in the stadium so this was nothing new for this particular dog. I think Georgia is the only school that does this for its live mascots. Some may think that is wierd and some may think it is neat but that is the way they do it. I agree with most thought in that it is not really much of a news story but for some reason people from all over are drawn to that dog. As far as a dog goes he was a beautiful dog with a lot of personality. It beats having a guy run around in a very cheesy tree costume like Stanford. What can you say...down south we love our Bill of Rights, our beverages, our women, our pets and most importantly our football!!!

It appears that the Vols got a good one here. Very good looking back with speed. It seems like all your verbals and visits are on the offensive side of the ball. Is Chavis and company working this offseason?

He is probably the best fullback in the country....top three at least. Yes Michael1204...he will miss those games along with the SC and ASU road games as well so your sarcasm not withstanding this is a big loss for the Dawgs. He is projected to be back by Bama.

He is simply the best. Class act with unbelievable talent. I was glad to see him get a ring two years ago.

Wow this guy is a loon. Sounds like he still wants to run the MSU BB program. If thats the case he should not have retired.
I agree pdhuff to the average fans outside of MSU looks like a total a-hole.

Dang!! What is up with "nafslov". The Mannings are great. I guess some people would grow tired of hearing about them but they are like no other family in terms of their athletic accomplishments. Besides UGA...I never wanted anybody to beat UF as bad as I wanted to see Peyton do it. Did Peyton ever get to stick it to SOS in the pros?
