Coaching is a very demanding and competitive occupation. I know, I've done it for 31 years. I'm proud of the job that the Tennessee Coaches have done and still continue to do. Nobody can win every game or get every recruit and it really bothers you when you have an athlete that does not live up to the expectations that you have set for your team, especially when it comes to character issues. But, at the end of each day you must be able to look in the mirror and feel good about the person that you see and the effort that you gave that day. You realize that tomorrow will bring new challenges and new opportunities. You also realize that you have the opportunity to influence and shape young peoples lives. What an awesome responsibility that the Good Lord has given you! Keep up the good work "Tennessee Coaches". We are behind you and our Tennessee teams all the way! WE BLEED ORANGE!!!

There will be some pleasant suprises on signing day for the Big Orange! You can never get every player that you want, but we will be fine. Go Vols!
