I'm not saying the guy should be fired, just quit saying stupid stuff. Honestly, though, you don't need to be an expert on baseball to see the mistakes he makes in this one interview. Knowing a bit about sports, management, people and attitude tell you that this guy is not going in a positive direction. He seems very defensive which typically means he's lacking self confidence. I doubt players will respond well no matter what his excuses though. Maybe Hamilton can introduce him to Team Building/Management 101..on DVD if you like...

chkrbrd, I agree, that's may be the most pathetic interview I've read in a while. Same weight room? Same meal plan? Is that all it takes to be a winner?! Last I checked, no. How 'bout a coach with his head screwed on? Wow, this guy is way, way out in left field. Tell me again why Delmonico (sp) is gone...

The comparison to Locke is not a good one. That kid was about 5'6" in cleats, sure he could run but thats about the extent of it. A better comparison... I say "remember Carl Pickens?"

Well guys
It seems, to me, that mcbrim is simply exploring his/her new found freedom (like when mom or dad unlock Explorers parental controls) on the internet by bouncing from one chat room to the next interjecting whenever he/she sees an opportunity to get a rise or to actually use some of that new found knowledge. Unfortunately, he/she seems to be another one of those uf fans that think the gators were always good at football.

Obviously, feared mustang is not a TN fan. Not only is there nothing to fear at TN (hasn't been for years and that is a tremendous problem) but the only reason to be excited for 2008 was to see what POSITIVE changes would be made to the program. Losing TT is a bigger long term loss that Cut. In business we say people don't leave companies, people leave people (management 101).
