Yea he got out basketball and now is the GM of a Krispy Kreme factory in Kentucky. He said he enjoys the sweet taste of success each morning.

This kid could shoot but he was more like Jared Lorenzen

Mr Man, when is the last time Memphis beat Tennessee in any sport, including mens basketball? Like 4 years, pretty sad to be known more for choking the National Championship than winning it

So what he's a young guy with lots of money. He didn't kill anyone and the truth is pot should be legal anyway. How many people die each year from smoking and driving? A hell of a lot less than those drinking and driving, lets make booze illegal.

As far as his White House antics, you have to admire a man standing up for his beliefs.

He's already assuming he'll be the coach in 4 years. After we spend the next 4 years kicking UK a%% I'm sure the boosters will ready to hire say...Kelvin Sampson

I'm sure Pealr has some hottie lined up to take on his boat this summer. I seen a really nice blonde behind the bench at a few games this year

Once again many of you take a John Adam's article personally. I think John is 100% correct, it makes a person wonder is David Cutcliff is the QB guru everyone says he is. I mean yea he has the 2 Mannings, but I'm sure their gene's and the fact both grew up in the Superdome around NFL players and coaches didn't hurt.

It still boggles my mind how Tee couldn't hang on in the NFL. There are some really bad QB's out there that are backups. Tee had agility, speed and arm strength, blows my mind.

Whoever called out Spurriers kids should just shut up. 2 of the 5 QB's you mentioned won NC's. 1 has a Heisman Trophy and Spurrier will be the 1st to admit he had a system at Florida, undersized fast receivers and a system that was run on timing. Plus Spurrier demanded perfection out of even his best QB's or they went to the bench, you don't really see that out of Fulmer or Cut.

I have never been impressed with Cromptons play (the little we have all seen). He seems to always been in a daze while he's on the field (except the LSU game). Hopefully he'll get better.

On Adams: No pro at predicting UT quarterbacks

Alot of people have had a good career and made lots of money as a back-up. He just has to take advantage of his opportunities when given them. I think he'll perform better when he's not "The Man", seems like when he was a freshman he was expected to make mistakes.

Look at guys like Brady, Romo, Derek Anderson, Kurt Warner. Everyone of those guys at some point has been known as a back up, but as soon as their opportunity came it was ovre and they all became starters. Erik can do that

One thing all of you failed to mention on those not getting drafted is the draft is only 7 rounds not 12 like it used to be. Thats 150 or so kids that would have gotten picked up.

As far as Hefney getting drafted, he had a terrible senior year, I think he pulled a Jamal Lewis and played not to get hurt and it hurt his draft status, unlike Lewis.

If I were a late round kid I would rather be a free agent, you get to almost choose between 2 or 3 places of where you would want to go. Seems like you could chose a team to fill a need. Just a thought.

Lastly after all that I feel the talent level has dropped off. I was taling with someone the other day asking how in the hell a guy like Jared Lorenzen can make it as a back-up/third stringer and Tee Martin/Casey Clausen can not.

People hate Adams cause he's not a UT homer...Thats why I like him. It annoys the crap out of me to listen to most UT fans as they think every year they'll win the NC and if they don't its usually bad calls, other team grew the grass to high etc etc. Most UT fans will never admit that the football program is on par with schools like Wisconsin, Oregon, Texas A&M, and Boston College. It's been a long time since this program has been considered a national powerhouse and if you take off the orange glasses you see it might not be that soon before it gets back to that point.

Take some shots at me, John Adam or whoever else says the program is stale but come December when Tennessee plays in a 2nd tier bowl game for the 10th year in a row, remember who said it would happen. PEACE!

On Adams: Vols' stock rises with Pearl's record, recruits

Anderson and Dozier can come back for Memphis, they had their shot this year and choked it away. Great job UM, you know who is kicking himself in the ass at Memphis....Willie Kemp. Ever since he went to Memphis high he has been a bust. He is 0-2 vs Tennessee, lost his starting job his sophmore year and will not start again this year....

On Tyler Smith expected to stay a Vol; will say today
