A native of Spring City, Tenn., Ansley Haman graduated in 2005 with journalism and history degrees from the University of Tennessee. She's lived, studied and worked in Washington, D.C., Great Britain and South Africa. She returned to Knoxville at the end of 2006 and joined the News Sentinel metro staff in February 2007.
