Hannon joins 49ers' practice squad

Former UT receiver Chris Hannon was signed to the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. Hannon was on Kansas City's practice squad in 2006. He went to Carolina's practice squad in 2007, and was cut by the Panthers earlier this year.

Everywhere you look in the tri-county area stretching from Palm Beach to the Keys, there are billboards emblazoned with those three words above photos of Parcells, the Miami Dolphins' executive vice president of football operations, first-year general manager Jeff Ireland and first-year head coach Tony Sparano.
They are being tasked with turning around a franchise that finished 1-15 in 2007, and the 25-year-old Allen is hoping to be one of the catalysts behind that turnaround. Full story »
