good luck JuJuan , you deserve a chance at the NBA, joe crawford got drafted ahead of JuJuan and Lofton , that just shows us somebody wasnt thinking with the right head, he couldnt carry Loftons or JuJuans jock strap

JaJuan Smith not making the draft shocks me. He is more than just a scorer and is very quick, plays great defense and is a very good passeer too.
He is better than some players who got drafted.

JaJuan can't handle the ball well enough for his size to make it in the NBA. He will have a great career in Europe. Good luck JuJuan!

I think Smith is a better NBA player than Lofton. Lofton is a great shooter and was a sensational college player but he's a little short and a little slow to play in the NBA IMO. Of course he's been proving people like me wrong since HS.

If JaJuan plays this summer with the passion he displayed at UT and stays patient and persistent, I think he has a great chance to play in the NBA some day. Until that happens, he could make a great living playing overseas. I agree with General Fritter that he could steal the lunch of several guys who were drafted. I could say much the same for Lofton, even though he is perhaps a step slow for the NBA. Nothing they do in the future can diminish the magnitude of their achievements at UT or lessen the regard all UT fans have for them. Good luck, guys!

Some of you need to take off the orange blinders. Reasons JaJuan wasn't drafted much the same as C-Lo's - size, ballhandling, defense. Don't tell me what a great defender JaJuan is because he's not. He's a RISK defender that takes too many chances. Sometimes he makes plays but more often he leaves teammates on the backside to pick him up. That won't work in the NBA. The reasons not similar to CLo are the off court tests he's had difficulty with in the past.

the vol the reason that wont work in the nba is cause they dont play defense in the nba. and if you think joe crawford is a better allaround player than lofton or juanny than you need to put on some orange blinders. no hard feelings just cant believe some of these chumps that were drafted

bluetick0710 - I agree. Defense in the NBA is only played in the playoffs. Why do you think the Europeans have caught up with us?
