Blogging the third Saturday in October

Here's a sampling about what bloggers are saying about game. In blogs, in story comments, in sports chat rooms, emotions are flaring, opinions are spouting, and criticism is spread thick and sticky. That's what kind of rivalry Tennessee-Alabama is.

But first, some housekeeping:

Hey, bloggers we have a deal for you. Put a permanent link to the Knoxville Bloggers Network on your site and we'll send you a KnoxNews cap.

Just email me a link to the page and include your name and mailing address. It couldn't be easier!

What's the blog network. It's a blog aggregator that helps people figure out what bloggers in the Knoxville area are saying.

Is your blog part of the Knoxville blog network? If not, add it.

And now, what they're saying about the Vols, the coach and the game.

Did we miss your blog? Well, it's just a sampling of what people are saying. But let us know about yours by writing us an email. Check mine out by looking here.

I may be old...but those blog comments are so small I can't even read them. Must be interesting though if its posted here. Maybe in the future make them less microscopic.

From Tidefans.com:
Read the entire article and weep.
I am!
"Alabama defeated Tennessee in every facet of the game, but perhaps no more so than sideline vs. sideline. This game was a microcosm of the last few years of Phil Fulmer’s reign in Tennessee; the Volunteers tried to finesse the ball at Alabama despite never really being stopped in the running game, and after a few critical mistakes, folded like the top of a Krispy Kreme doughnut box."
See yall next year!
Gonna miss yo Smokey!

Why did we not pound the rock? It looks to me like the game was bought by Alabama......Foster ran all over the Tide when he had the ball......whats the deal?

If it were up to me, I would dismiss fulmer and chavis tomorrow morning. Can we do any worse without them then we have done with them? What an embarrassment these men have been to a one time elite program. There are some coaches out there that would love to coach at UT and I think it is high time that we started talking to some of them. I can't take any more of fulmer football. I can't tkae any more of chavis and his Mustang D that can't tackle, sack, or defend the pass. I can take losing but not laying over like they did with florida and bama. Shame on you coach for not instilling more pride in our boys. they are a reflection of your leadership.

Why didn't UT pound the rock? None of the UT coaches have stones!!
